1. What is Brandplug?

   Brandplug is a TikTok marketing company that connects brands with TikTok influencers & content creators who can promote their products on TikTok in exchange for a commission on sales driven.

2. Why do you charge brands/pay influencers based on commission?
   While getting paid on commission might sound less attractive to creators at first, the truth is the best creators can make far more by making sure they get paid for sales they drive. We hear from brands all the time stories of single TikTok videos driving $20,000 to $50,000 in sales, and almost always they paid the creator of that video less than $500! On the other side, brands have a hard time figuring out who to pay and who not to pay for content, so they usually end up working with a very small number of creators, and often that causes them to miss the chance of working with other great creators who may have made a viral video for them. We think the commission model solves both these problems— now brands can work with far more creators because they don’t have to spend tens of thousands of dollar to try working with dozens of creators, and the best creators can get paid what they deserve.

3. How do you track sales?

   We offer two options for tracking sales: unique discount codes, for example “CREATOR15”, that you can put in your content , and unique tracking URLS that you can put in your TikTok bio if you have over 1,000 followers on TikTok. We strongly recommend promoting both your code and your link to maximize the amount of sales that get tracked.
   
   We also recommend mentioning your discount codes in your videos, and editing them on-to your videos, because TikTok will hide discount codes in video descriptions or comments sections. We recommend changing your link-in-bio to your affiliate link or adding it to your Linktree for 72 hours after you upload a sponsored video.

4. How do you pay creators?
   At the moment, we only support wire transfer payouts to creators, which are made the 15th of every month for your earnings the month prior. We’re working on adding more payment methods soon.
